Sri Lanka Tea Board (SLTB) back office system, was offered as a solution in order to improve the critical processes of handling and managing the tea industry

Requirement We Identified

As SLTB is the main regulatory body of the industry and since the tbBOSS system is also provided, the required solution need to developed in a manner in which both systems can facilitate with each other and thereby creating a smooth process flow of the industry.

Solution We Provided

The system was built to automate the process as well as extract analytical information. The use of barcode reading and generation incorporated in this system enables additional features such as tracking tea samples and products within the entity. The implementation of this technological solution has made SLTB overcome majority of the problems faced in manual processes and hence improve accuracy and efficiency and use the resources wasted on manual data recording to be used for more meaningful tasks. Also the system facilitates the users to retrieve historical and analytical information as and when required.

Challenges We Met

As the system was built to automate the process as well as extract analytical information, each departmental functions in SLTB need to incorporated through the ERP solution. Our CICRA team contributed their maximum effort to make it success through expert analytical knowledge and skilful development effort.

Technologies We Used
TSYST is a web based system is developed using the C# and ASP.Net languages The reports are developed using Crystal Reports xi and the solution can be hosted on a Windows Environment
